Our Annual Service is intended for gate systems supplied and installed by Spa Gates with BFT or Proteco automation equipment. Customers who register for an Annual Service will be prompted by us to arrange a service visit by one of our engineers, normally on or around the anniversary of installation. Regular servicing is recommended even if the equipment is still under warranty. breakdown callouts Spa Gates does offer a breakdown callout service, which is at reduced cost for those who are regular annual service customers. Annual Service, Safety Checks and Site Risk Assessment

check welds on gate hinges, brackets etc where gates attach to the actuators
inspect and lubricate gate hinges (swing gates) or wheels (sliding gates)
examine and tighten actuator fixings (ram or arm operators)
clean out foundation boxes and check drainage (underground operators)
examine and clean racks and drive pinion (sliding gates)
inspect and clean safety photocells and safety pressure strips
clean and lubricate external moving actuator parts as required
check and adjust any electric automatic lock
check electronic control box seals
check and adjust opening and closing cycles and operation of all safety devices
report any problems to customer
review our Site Risk Assessment and recommend any safety upgrades required to comply with current Health and Safety Notices

A single annual service is generally sufficient for residential automatic gates. Gates with higher levels of usage, such as community or public gates, should be serviced at least twice annually.
