Q: My gate opening is non-standard. Can you help ?
A: All of our gates are made to measure. You tell us the size and we make it to that size.
Q: What size gateposts do I need ?
A: Our gates are all made to a high specification and require the correct gateposts. See the steel posts recommended by the price calculators.
Q: How are the gates made secure ?
A: Steel double gates are supplied with a lockable lever latch. Timber double gates are supplied with a pair of steel padlock rings. For single gates we recommend you order either a slide bolt or mortice lock.
Q: What paint finish is the metalwork supplied in ?
A: As standard, the metalwork is supplied in a black primer finish, ready for top coating. Our galvanise coating service greatly extends the life of the gates.
Q: Which swing gate automation kit is right for me ?
A: The main considerations are geometry and looks. First check the geometry to see which kit will work with your gates. Usually with new gates any of the swing gate kits will work. Next, consider looks. All the kits we supply are the same top quality. An underground operator is less visible and less vulnerable to vandalism.
Q: Can I use one of your automation kits to automate my existing gates ?
A: Yes, but study carefully which kit will work with your gates. If in any doubt then just call our helpline.
Q: What are the cable requirements for the automation kits ?
A: Let us know what kit and access equipment you want and we will confirm the cable specification. We can supply the cable if you wish.
Q: Can you provide sliding gates ?
A: Any of our designs can be made into a sliding gate.
Q: I can't see a gate/railing design that I like. Can you help ?
A: Send us a sketch or photograph of a design you like, we will price it for you.
Q: How much does it cost for installation ?
A: We do installations up to a maximum distance of 140 miles from Warwick. You can now use the price calculators on this website to determine the cost of all our products including installation. Alternatively, please contact us with your requirements and we will confirm the installation cost.
Q: Do you deliver to my area ?
A: Yes, we deliver UK nationwide.
Q: Can someone come and visit my site to check my measurements ?
A: In our experience, it is not necessary for us to visit every site. Most of the vital information can usually be gleaned over the telephone. However, if a site visit is necessary then we can provide an estimate of the likely cost of this.
