Cedar Gates - our premier timber gates

We selected Western Red Cedar for our premier range of timber gates as Cedar is recognised as amongst the world's most durable woods, having a low shrinkage factor and good natural resistance to moisture and decay. The Cedar boards are laid on an inner frame within the main steel box section frame. Each board is secured to the frame by 3 stainless steel coach bolts, giving the distinctive studded effect to the front face of the gate. The steel frame gives the rigidity and strength to support the attachment of any required gate automation, or configuration as a sliding gate.

Henley Luxury Cedar Gates - with wrought iron features

We call the Henley gate design a hybrid since it combines the beauty of cedar timber with the traditional wrought iron style scrolls of the Strand which are mounted on the steel frame. This design was originally inspired by a customer. The Western Red Cedar boards are laid on an inner frame within the main steel box section frame. Each board is secured to the frame by 3 stainless steel coach bolts, giving the distinctive studded effect to the front face of the gate. The steel frame gives the rigidity and strength to support the attachment of any required gate automation, or configuration as a sliding gate.
